The trip to pick up the trailer was relatively easy. We chatted all the way, making plans for what to expect, what to do first, and anticipation to see the trailer was a rush of excitement. The weather was great. The dogs well behaved….they love to travel. Since we didn't get started exactly early….we hit RUSH HOUR in Dallas Texas. Oh my. The AC in the truck was misbehaving, not cooling as it should. Our fingers were crossed we made it there and back with AC.

| Dallas has some awesome buildings. It was 102 degrees, so I took photos without rolling the windows down! |

| Rush Hour: Dallas Texas |
We spent the night about 2 hours from Sealy, Texas. It is confirmed: I hate motels. I am a trailer spoiled girl, who loves her own bed.
We arrived at Angie's house about 10:00 and had her ready to roll by 11:30. The tires were questionable, so as luck has it, Angie's husband manages a Goodyear Tire shop! First stop….two new tires. Then off to get a 'day pass' temporary license so we were highway legal. $5.00 later, we were on the road.

| Angie had planned to name the trailer Fancy, using pink as her central color theme. The original color of the stove is Avocado green….so she spray painted the stove pink, just for the effect. She had begun the painting of the interior with a cream color. Pink accents on the drawers, covered in lace. She was doing a really nice job, but since I am not after a Glamping look, I have plans to change this all up. |

| Some of the gut job was in progress when they decided to sell her. Fortunately for us, they still have the back window and storage panel. We are going to replace that entire section of aluminum since it is fairly damaged beyond fixing. |
 |
| From what I understand, this is the original counter top material. Pump sink and all. |
 |
| Angie shared with me her darling chandelier she has saved for her new vintage trailer she is rehabbing. I could tell we could have become good friends if we lived closer! We share a lot of the same interests. What a great gal to purchase my trailer from. I think she knows she went to a good home! |
 |
| On the return home, pulling the trailer, we hit RUSH HOUR DALLAS AGAIN! |
 |
| Too bad we were in a bee line returning home. This part of Texas we found beautiful. I think we will plan to travel to Austin sometime soon. |
